Convenient method for distinguishing between safe alkaline and unsafe acidic paper and board. Easy to use: Simply draw a line and read it as soon as it dries. When dry, a purple colour denotes a pH level of 6.5 or higher.

Note: This testing method may produce unreliable results on coloured materials.
