Single-Stitched:

For replacing loose sections into books not to be rebound. Also used to fasten pamphlets into covers. Two strips of white gummed cloth, stitched through the centre.

Double-Stitched:

For refastening the contents of books to cover. Two strips of heavily gummed white cloth sewn with gumming on outside. Ravel-resistant.
