Buffered: Recommended for black and white artwork and prints as well as other items that would benefit from acid-neutralizing buffering. The thin (.001) 16g/m2 is desirable for maximum translucency. Buffered with 3% calcium carbonate for use with silver halide films and papers as well for nitrate base films.
Unbuffered: Recommended for use with coloured prints, textiles, and watercolours. Albumen, cyanotype, dry transfer or chromogenic prints also require unbuffered tissue. Very thin (.001) 16g/m2 tissue for maximum translucency. Ideal for separating prints, drawings, or lithographs.
