Prevent damage caused to artifacts, by abrasive mounts and storage materials, by using smooth, soft Teflon (polytetrafluoroethylene or PTFE) film. This chemically inert, non-toxic, non-absorbent material can be used as a barrier, to keep artifacts from being abraded by rough surfaces.
