Assemble Cover & Contents with Double Stitched Binder Tape

Required Materials
• Double Stitched Binder Tape
• Mending Brush
• Plastic or Bone Folders
• Radiant Bond Glue

1 Select Double Stitched Binder tape of
proper width, making sure each row
of stitching lies along each edge of
contents. Cut a piece 1/8" less than
length of contents. Coat inside of
white cloth with Radiant Bond. Attach
binder to back of contents as shown.
Rub spine with folder.

2 Lay contents on table. Pull flaps

down over contents until the row of
stitching lines up with edge of
contents. Repeat on other side. Then
apply Radiant Bond to inside of white
gummed cloth.

3 With cover flat on table top, fit the

contents into the back, centering
contents between edges of cover.
Make sure contents go in right side
up. Close book, and with index finger
doubled, push contents into back.
Rub spine with folder.

Note: If only one side of book requires
repair, Single Stitched Binder Tape
may be used.
